Richard is an internationally renowned behaviour and mental health expert. Known as The Kid Calmer he has worked with families and professionals around the world. He has provided advice to government departments, local authorities and educational settings across the UK and beyond. His work is said to have influenced the lives of millions of children over the last ten years and is the Programme Director for the Mental Health Awareness Programme.

Richard’s specialism is in social and emotional development and it’s link with low-level mental health and he has had over 10 books for parents published in addition to being the author of a measure, the Social and Emotional Skills Assessment.
