This session will provide a comprehensive overview of the problem of fraud and how it affects you, your colleagues and your school. It will explore best practice for prevention and detection, information on reporting fraud and useful tips to apply in your school.
Martin’s biog:
Martin has worked within the education sector for 15 years and has been with Educator Solutions since 2016. Martin manages finance support to Local Authority Schools and Single and Multi Academy Trusts, providing personalised advice, support and training that ensures money is protected and used efficiently to improve outcomes for students. This involves working closely with many schools and academies, passionately providing solutions including support for budgeting and ensuring sound controls are put into place to provide school leaders and governors with assurance that risks are mitigated and school funds are protected. Martin’s dedicated support to schools’ results in schools maintaining a long term viable and sustainable financial model.
Martin believes it is imperative that he and his team provide schools and academies the necessary finance support, training and tools so they can ensure maximum investment in supporting education.
