This session will be delivered jointly by the NASUWT and Northern Education Trust, looking at some of the key issues around making schools as safe as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic, and how unions and employers can work together to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for pupils and staff.

Andrew’s biog:

Andrew attended Durham University and qualified as a teacher 1997. Andrew qualified as a geography teacher and quickly progressed into a senior leadership role taking up his first role as a senior leader at Dyke House School. Andrew previously was the Head teacher at Dyke House Community Academy before moving into the Executive Principal role.

Andrew Jordon is now an Executive Principal for Northern Education Trust, looking after a number of secondary academies across the north of England. As Executive Principal further responsibilities lie in leading various subject directors and areas within the trust school improvement model N.O.R.T.H.E.R.N.
